Overview

The Protect Sales Director position offers an exciting challenge for an ambitious, innovative business development individual to make a substantial impact on the growth of our Identity Theft Protection line of business.   

 

The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, driving sales of Protect solutions by leveraging current connections and identifying new candidates within our Financial Institution target vertical and criteria.   

Sharp commercial acumen and a proven ability to identify, cultivate, and advance sales opportunities from plan to close while navigating complex negotiations is a must.

 

The role demands someone who can engage with C-level executives and decision-makers, forge robust relationships, and deliver results. You will have exceptional interpersonal competencies, be adept at collaborating with various in-house teams in a multinational corporate structure and have a verified record of stimulating new business and amplifying our portfolio.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for selling Identity Theft Protect solutions to prospective customers through both established networks and the cultivation of new ones. The key responsibility of this role includes creating a sales strategy that continues the momentum of sales progress within the financial institution vertical.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve/surpass sales targets within defined timelines and expand our customer base within the FI vertical.
  • Identify, target, and engage with prospective client decision makers to accelerate the sales cycle and expedite decisioning.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives and effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Lead the development of sales proposals, working closely with the global marketing, product, and delivery teams where appropriate.
  • Lead deal negotiations and bring to close contracts while engaging with the appropriate internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high level of engagement with prospects as they progress through the sales process, including identifying best practices and sharing them across teams.
  • Remain current on the FI vertical landscape and trends to address prospective client needs adequately and proactively.
  • Ownership, management, and ongoing internal reporting of the sales pipeline to the Executive team.  Provide progress updates on pipeline to ensure all are informed.
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Account teams on financial, pre-contract vetting assumptions to ensure post launch output mirrors deal expectations. 
  • Work with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of activity before client handover to account management teams.

Qualifications

  • Self-driven individual with a proven track record of creating impactful sales pipelines with high closure rates.
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in the FI vertical and/or Identity Theft Protection market.
  • Comes with a strong network of contacts that can be leveraged as prospects.
  • A self-starter, proficient in the financial institution vertical, who can confidently engage and effectively negotiate with executive level client contacts.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing and executing both RFIs and RFPs.
  • Skilled in leading negotiations and concluding contractual agreements.
  • Financially savvy with the ability to comprehend complex financial pricing models.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and substantial knowledge about both our internal business practices and the FI vertical with a deep understanding of how to position our products against competitors.
