You will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and improving the public perception of the organization, both internally and externally, covering the three core areas of marketing:

  • Brand awareness (trade marketing, events and marketing collateral)
  • Thought leadership (PR, insights and industry partnerships)
  • Reputational management (monitoring online forums and social media, online sentiment, SEO, SEM)

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement PR and Communication plan for the company.
  • Design, develop and coordinate the corporate communication calendar: Press releases, opinion articles, interviews, speeches, white papers & researches, and other communications in its multiple formats: mailing, newsletter, blog, post, podcast, etc.
  • Manage, optimize and monitor B2B and B2C social networks: monitoring of content, followers and interaction on LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Facebook and any other channel might be appropriate to promote the brand or the product.
  • Coordinate, organize and sponsor networking or team building events.
  • Update corporate website and product blog & create and implement AdWords campaigns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Monitor online and offline channels for mentions and sentiment related to the organization.
  • Respond to and manage reputation-related issues, both proactively and reactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and positive corporate image.
  • Create and maintain crisis communication plans and protocols.
  • Conduct reputation audits and analysis to identify potential areas of concern.
  • Develop and execute reputation-building campaigns.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to maintain a positive image.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team regarding communication and reputation management efforts.
  • Liaise with customer support and public relations teams.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors involved in PR, communication and reputation management and engage with media outlets and industry influencers.
  • Budget oversight for PR, communication & reputation management activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in communication & reputation management or a related role.
  • Certification in Crisis Management or Public Relations.
  • Excellent communication and crisis management skills including strong writing skills.
  • Ability to handle a variety of complex issues at the same time.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • Social media monitoring and management.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Crisis communication, media relations, social media management, data analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific reputation challenges and best practices.
    Crisis Response, Brand Advocacy, Reputation Analysis, Stakeholder Engagement, Media Relations.
  • Scope of Responsibility Competencies:** Budget Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Leadership, Vendor Management, Reporting and Analysis.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
